Frozen Niagara Falls

Roger and I have lived in Niagara Falls for over 20 years and have never seen Niagara Falls freeze over. Although we have heard stories that it happened twice in the 1900's.

I'm going to be doing some research at the local library as well as contacting a local historian to see if I can get to the bottom of this interesting story.

In the meantime, I'll be posting pictures of Niagara Falls in a "frozen like" state from ones I find in my research and photos that Roger I take this winter.
